Tired of the daily social media grind? Don’t chuck your smartphone out the window just yet.
Getting 182 Likes on your new Facebook profile photo is exciting, and the Instagram you uploaded from the beach probably did make your friends jealous. But sometimes, you just need to back away and use a different part of your brain. The part of your brain that thinks in more than 140 characters at a time.
State.com released a brutally honest ad for its new app, which it hopes will serve as an online outlet for opinions. The millions of preloaded topics range from politics to music preferences, which are available for users to rate and comment on — sans social media. Those user opinions are then recorded and turned into distribution graphs.
Although turning people’s opinions into graphs may seem just as removed as reducing them to hashtags, State’s amusing and truthful video, aptly titled “You are what you share,” still makes a valid point about our social media habits.Attribution:From Mashable
